A pair of sterling silver tongs with traditional engravings and oar design made by the Salish people from the Pacific Northwest regions (such as British Columbia). Similarly to the Navajo and other Native Indian cultures, the Salish have their own silversmithing and jewellery-making techniques and tourist pieces they sell.
Tested and verified as sterling silver accordingly, possibly a sugar tongs.
Dimensions: the piece measures 9 cm in length and 1,8 cm in width. (Code: S26O046)
