A rare find, this small scalloped-shaped box would originally possibly have been a lady's snuff box or pill box with bronze mountings, in excellent overall condition with no damage noted. See photos for details and beautiful hand-painted design. Dates circa mid to late 19th-Century in the style of 18th Century Meissen with a faux Meissen mark noted underneath.
