An exquisite, rare find - Cantonese enamels are sought-after for their fine hand-painted detail and scarcity. In this example we have a large circa 20th-Century brush pot rectangular in design with canted corners, adorned with beautiful detailed scroll work and four individually hand-painted panels. Two panels depicting oriental figures in garden scenes, and two panels with butterflies, flowers, cherry blossoms and birds. In excellent overall condition - see photos for details.
